2021 Tulsa Artist Fellowship Applications Now Open

The George Kaiser Fellowship Foundation has opened up applications for their Tulsa Artist Fellowship once again to local artists with a vision. The winner of the 2021 fellowship is set to be announced in May, with the program starting in August.

Local artists trying to fulfill their dreams have two weeks to get their applications in for the latest Tulsa Artist Fellowship. The deadline to get applications in is January 15, but the winner will be announced in May.

The George Kaiser Fellowship Foundation’s website states they are looking for candidates who already have a vision of the piece they want to bring to life, but are struggling to maintain the resources to carry out their vision.

2020 fellow Anita Fields currently has her visual display “In The Absence of Gathering” downtown for the public to enjoy at 107 M.L.K Jr Blvd., just north of Que Gusto.

According to the TAF website the criteria for a Tulsa Artist Fellow is someone who demonstrates perseverance and determination in their work.
