Muskogee Police Chief Speaks At Funeral Of Teen Killed By Officers

Muskogee Police Chief Johnny Teehee said he’s trying to make good out of tragedy after a teenager was shot and killed by his officers.

Last month, officers shot and killed 17-year-old Farrah Rauch after she shot at them after a car chase. Her dad invited Teehee and the officers involved to her funeral in Nebraska and Teehee accepted.

“This never happens. You don’t have the family of the victim of an officer-involved shooting reach out and invite them to the service and say, ‘we forgive you,’” Teehee said.
