Tulsa Police are investigating after a body was found in a pond near Apache and Harvard on Wednesday.
Police say they were called to the scene by firefighters who saw the body floating in the water by some trees. This pond is near a business but police say they have confirmed the body is not an employee.
Officials are still investigating, but said at this point, it does not appear to be a homicide.
Detectives told News On 6 they believe the body has been there for about three days.
"I don't think it just happened we think the person may have been there for at least three days. So if somebody saying something around acting strange to give us a call," said Lt. Dedmorn Sanders.
Investigators say their next step is to look at missing person's reports.
