Severe Weather Thrashes Oklahoma, Leaving Trees In The Road & Causing Nearly 7,000 Tulsa Power Outages

Severe storms, including possible tornadoes, damaged homes, downed trees and left thousands of people with power on Wednesday night.

Thousands of Oklahomans are currently without power because of the storm.

PSO reported at 10 p.m. that over 5,600 power outages from Tulsa up to Pawhuska and into Bartlesville




The City of Tulsa has reports of trees down in roadways. Please avoid the following areas as crews work to clear the roads:

  1. 77th E. Ave, north of 19th
  2. 35th & Quincy
  3. 11000 Block of E 14th
  4. 1400 S 112th
  5. 41st & Riverside
