A woman who was killed by a Thanksgiving fire was laid to rest Friday afternoon in Wagoner.
Heavy rain beat down on the roof of the Assembly of God Church in Wagoner and flowed across the tear-streaked faces of friends and family there to remember Jessica Webb.
Jessica's two sons Fisher and Trenton and her two daughters Chloe and Tayler are focusing on their good memories of their mother.
They say Jessica collected books and clothes, she loved butterflies and the color purple. Above all, they say she was kind.
"She raised a beautiful family, and she was compassionate to everybody and it's felt in a lot of different places," her son Fisher Thomas said.
"You can't go anywhere without somebody knowing my mom or her knowing somebody."
After the ceremony - friends and family released balloons.
"I wanted her to know that I loved her. We all loved her, more than she knows," her daughter Tayler Flynn said.
The Wagoner Police Department says Jessica's life was cut short by a fire on Thanksgiving.
The cause of that fire is still being investigated.
"I just want answers," her son Trenton Webb said. "If it was an accident - or something sort of nefarious."
The family is asking anyone who may know something about this to please contact the Wagoner Police Department.
"We just want to know how it happened. Because if it wasn't for the fire our mom would still be here," Flynn said.
