Green Country Schools In Distance Learning Due To Inclement Weather

Winter weather has arrived in Green Country and several school districts are closing or sending students home for virtual learning.

Adair Public Schools will transition students to distance learning on Friday, February 4, due to Inclement weather

Allen Bowden Schools students will transition to distance learning on Friday, February 4 due to potentially hazardous weather conditions.

Anderson Public School will be closed on Friday, February 4 due to inclement weather. This will be treated as a traditional snow day and there will be no distance learning.

Bartlesville Public Schools: Announced that students would transition to distance learning from Wednesday, February 2 to Friday, February 4 due to forecasted inclement weather.

According to the district, parents can expect a follow-up on Wednesday about whether or not distance learning will continue.

Bixby Public Schools has switched students to distance learning for Wednesday, February 2nd due to inclement weather. If weather remains poor, snow days are planned for Thursday, February 3rd and Friday, February 4th. Transportation and meal service will not be available those days and all school sites will be closed if conditions continue to be dangerous.

Broken Arrow Public Schools students will transition to distance learning on Friday, February 4. Students will return to the classroom in-person on Monday, February 7.

Claremore Public Schools said that Friday, February 4 will be a distance learning day due to the inclement weather and concerns about transporting students home safely.

Colcord Public Schools is closed on Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February 4 due to inclement weather, there will be no virtual learning.

Collinsville Public Schools will not have classes on Friday, February 4.

Dove School of Discovery students will remain in distance learning on Friday, February 4 .

Dove Science Academy students will remain in distance learning on Friday, February 4.

Muskogee Public Schools Due to the winter weather, Muskogee Public Schools has determined to close all school sites for Thursday, February 3, 2022 and Friday, February 4, 2022 for all students and staff. Students will not be in distance learning during these two days. 

Pawnee Public Schools will be closed on Friday, February 4 due to inclement weather.

Tahlequah Public Schools is closed on Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February 4. The district says the days will be treated as snow days and there will be no distance learning.

Tulsa Public Schools has canceled classes from Wednesday, February 2nd through Friday, February 4th. It is a snow day closure and includes all afternoon or evening events and athletic activities, according to Superintendent Deborah A. Gist. Classes will resume February 7.

Union Public Schools has declared Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February 4 as snow days. Students will not be in distance learning.

Wainwright Public Schools students will transition to distance learning on Wednesday, February 2 and Thursday, February 3 due to Inclement weather. There will be no classes on Friday, February 4 due to a snow day.
