Hillcrest Launches 'Don't Bug Me' Flu Awareness Campaign

Hillcrest and the Tulsa Health Department are launching their annual flu-awareness campaign for kids.

The "Don't Bug Me" program was at Lindbergh Elementary today teaching students flu prevention tips, and how to keep the spread of germs to a minimum.

"We've done this in the past but because of the pandemic we really haven't had the chance to give it a full in-person kick-off in a school in a couple of years so it's been really exciting to be able to do this here today," said Hillcrest CEO Kevin Gross.

The State Health Department says Oklahoma's flu season started in September but typically gets worse as we move into the colder winter months.
