Kendra Horn hopes to have a new job title as U.S. Senator from Oklahoma by days end.
She previously represented the fifth district for the House of Representatives for one term before losing her re-election bid in 2020.
She's been described as a Moderate Democrat.
Horn says as a United States Senator, she offers a voice of reason and a belief in bipartisanship.
She says she will work with anyone when it's good for Oklahoma and will stand up to anyone when it's not.
"I stood up when things my party wanted to do weren't right for Oklahoma. I'm not running to serve a party. I'm running to serve the people of Oklahoma," said Horn.
Horn is behind Mullin in our News On 6 Sooner poll, but Horn say's she's been counted out before, specifically when she won in 2018.
