Choctaw Nation Chief Reacts To Reelection Of Governor Stitt

The Choctaw Nation is reacting to the reelection of Governor Stitt after endorsing state Superintendent Joy Hofmeister.

In a statement, Chief Gary Batton said, "Although the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma endorsed Governor Stitt's opponent, we remain open to cooperating with the administration for the benefit of all Oklahomans."

In October, the Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Tribes, which includes the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee and Seminole tribes, announced their joint endorsement of Joy Hofmeister.
