State Lawmaker Injured In Helicopter Crash

A state lawmaker suffered minor injuries after a helicopter crash in southern Oklahoma.

Tammy Townley (R-Ardmore) said she was hunting feral hogs from the air with her daughter and another person when the helicopter they were in went down in near the Red River.

In a Facebook post, Townley said she has a broken wrist due to the crash, but that everyone was able to walk away.

There is no word on the cause of the crash.
