Police: Home Invasion Ends With Deadly Shooting In Tulsa

Tulsa Police say a man is dead on Friday morning after a home invasion and shooting

According to police, it all happened near I-244 and North Hudson Avenue just before 4 a.m.

Police say a man showed up at a home and allegedly attempted to break in. The homeowner confronted the man, who then left. Police say the man then showed back up at the home, and that's when the homeowner shot him with a shotgun. 

Police say when they arrived on the scene, they found a person lying in the street outside the home.

Officers say they recovered stolen items from the house that were out in the street.

The man was transported to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
