Each year, a Tulsa artist creates a unique Christmas ornament to help raise money for local charities.
Bobbie Whaling has been creating the Tulsa Ornament since 1984. This year it will feature one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in town.
Bobbie has created a tribute to the Pavilion that sits at the Tulsa Fairgrounds, Expo Square.
The ornament is $25 and a portion of the proceeds will go to Catholic Charities, Neighbor for Neighbor, and the Food Bank. Bobbie said she's adding Life Senior Services as well.
Bobbie will be at the Glow on the Green event Friday at Guthrie Green with the ornament for sale.
You can take a look at all the ornaments she's created over the years from the Golden Driller, the Tulsa Zoo, Black Wall Street, to the very first ornament that was Swan Lake. CLICK HERE for more.
