Update: Bartlesville Police said Springer has been found in Hominy and is now safe.

The Bartlesville Police Department is searching for 85-year-old Eugene August Springer who they said is missing.

They said Springer was last seen at the Hampton Inn in Bartlesville around 1 p.m. on Friday. Officials said Springer has gray hair and green eyes, and is 5'10. They said he may be driving a dark gray 2016 Honda CRV with Oklahoma tag CRZ-420. Police said he was last seen wearing an OU Sooner baseball hat.

Officials said Springer lives in Pawhuska but was in Bartlesville due to a power outage.

Police said Springer suffers from dementia.
