Tulsa Police say a man has died from injuries sustained in a crash along I-244 on Wednesday, May 17.

According to Tulsa Police, 41-year-old Waylon Day, of Van Buren Arkansas, died around 6 p.m. on Friday from injuries he sustained in the crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash initially happened on Wednesday, May 17 near Sheridan Road at around 5:30 a.m.

According to OHP, Day was driving a 2011 Dodge RAM 3500 when he left the road and hit a concrete barrier. Day was pinned for nearly 20 minutes before firefighters extricated him, OHP said.
