Significant winds were associated with a wall of storms that entered the Tulsa metro area around midnight on Sunday, knocking out power for thousands.

According to AEP Tulsa, about 56,000 customers in Tulsa are without power as of 1:30 a.m.

Reports of downed power lines, trees and damaged homes are still being reported across the state.
